It was compulsory in my school to write with fountain pens. Everyone gossiped about types of pens and which ones are best. Everyone had multiple pens, different companies and different designs. Everyone had different cartridges too. Blue, black, red, Pelican, Maped, Staedtler. Now, after shifting schools, I’m left with only one fountain pen. Maped, nature series, green fountain pen. With every use, I get unmistakable nostalgia. With every empty cartridge, the urge to cut it open, And take out the tiny ball holder increases. But to restart the collection is an arduous task. Even with a fountain pen, everyone made mistakes. No one had the patience to white it up, And rewrite with a sturdy ball point pen. And that was when stationers dropped a saviour. The ever handy Ink Killer. Half eraser, half felt pen. Every time a student slashed an L to a T Every time a student closed a Y to a G The Ink Killer was there. After the shift, I had a plethora of those unused miraculous items. What to do?...
